Growing up, Christina developed a strong passion for fashion design. She would make sketches of ideas, and inspirations in her little notebook, all the while dreaming of someday to be able to make those sketches into real garments. What started with little pieces of fabric, needle, and yarn to make simple outfits for her Barbies, later turned into making clothes for real people.
She fell in love with the the process of designing, and creating clothes while she was in high school, which made her decide to move to LA, and pursue her dream of a career in fashion. Studying fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising college, she developed a broad skill set, which includes sewing, pattern making, draping, and sketching.
Christina recently graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from FIDM, and is currently working as a seamstress as well as helping out a costume designer with costumes for different film projects. She is living her dream, and has now fully developed her passion for costume design, which started after watching the movie Alice in Wonderland (2010), where she admired the beautiful costumes created by the famous costume designer Colleen Atwood.
